What Is the Planning and Zoning Commission?

The Planning and Zoning Commission is a locally appointed advisory body that reviews land use and development proposals in unincorporated Elmore County. The Commission makes recommendations to the Elmore County Board of Commissioners based on the County’s Planning and Zoning Development Ordinance.

What Does the Commission Do?

The Commission evaluates applications related to zoning, land use, and development to ensure they align with county regulations and long-term planning goals.
