Voting Dates & Deadlines

November 8, 2022 Election Dates & Deadlines:
General Election is for all voting precincts.

Mail Ballot Precincts-  Atlanta, Chattin Flats, Pine, and Prairie your ballots will be mailed automatically October 17, 2022.

Election Day Voting will be available, polls will be open 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m.

In-Person Absentee Voting: Starts October 24, 2022 until November 4, 2022 at the Elmore County Courthouse M-F 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

What you will need in order to In-Person Absentee vote:
If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency and will be required to absentee vote at the same time.  Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.

Mail-Out Absentee Ballots We will start mailing Absentee Ballots on September 23, 2022
Last day to request mail out ballots is October 28, 2022.  Ballots MUST be returned to the Elections Department Office by November 8, 2022 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Election Day voting at your designated polling location
The polls are open November 8, 2022 (Election Day) from 8 a.m-8 p.m. Registration is available at the polling place.
