Taxing District Election
Eligible voters and precincts for the May 16, 2023 will be ALL Atlanta voters in the Atlanta Highway District. This taxing district is only for the Atlanta mail ballot precinct.
Taxing Districts on the ballot are as follows:
Atlanta Highway District-Commissioner 1 & 3, four (4) year terms.
Election Day Voting will be available, polls will be open 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m.
In-Person Absentee Voting: Starts May 1, 2023 until May 12, 2023 at the Elmore County Courthouse M-F 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.
What you will need in order to In-Person Absentee vote:
If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency and will be required to absentee vote at the same time. Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.
Mail-Out Absentee Ballots – We will start mailing Absentee Ballots on April 17, 2023.
Last day to request mail out ballots is May 5, 2023. Ballots MUST be returned to the Elections Department Office by May 16, 2023 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Mail Ballot Precincts-Atlanta, Chattin Flats, Pine and Prairie your ballots will automatically be mailed to you starting April 24, 2023.
Election Day voting at your designated polling location:
The polls are open May 16, 2023 (Election Day) from 8 a.m-8 p.m. Registration is available at the polling place.
