A Planning and Zoning Commission is a locally appointed governing body charged with making decisions and recommendations to the Board of the County Commissioners in light of the planning & zoning development ordinance within unincorporated Elmore County. The Planning and Zoning Commission usually meets once a month at the War Memorial Hall, 515 East 2nd South, Mountain Home, ID on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
