Elmore County Fairgrounds Master Plan
Fairgrounds Master Plan Information
Elmore County is launching a Fairgrounds Master Plan to guide the long-term growth, use, and improvement of our fairgrounds.
This project reflects the County’s dedication to upgrading our public spaces, investing tax dollars wisely, and making sure the fairgrounds remain a vibrant, welcoming hub for our community and the entire region.
Our Goals for the Project
To bring this vision to life, Elmore County has partnered with our municipal advisor, Clearwater Financial. Together with the Board of County Commissioners, the Fair Board, and local stakeholders, this Master Plan will:
Assess Current Spaces: Evaluate existing buildings and overall site conditions to see what’s working and what needs attention.
Plan for Growth: Identify the future facilities, spaces, and infrastructure our community will need.
Secure the Financial Future: Evaluate funding options to ensure the fairgrounds are financially sustainable for years to come.
Build a Roadmap: Create visual site designs, estimate costs, and develop a step-by-step plan for improvements.
A Collaborative Effort
This plan isn’t being built in a vacuum. It is a coordinated effort driven by leadership and community partners who care about the future of Elmore County:
The Board of County Commissioners
The Elmore County Fair Board
Key Community Stakeholders
Help Us Reimagine the Fairgrounds!
We are looking at the big picture to transform the Elmore County Fairgrounds into a premier, year-round destination for residents and visitors alike. This planning effort will refresh and improve all areas of the site, including:
The Rodeo Arena
The Expo Building
Livestock Areas
The Campground & Support Facilities
Your Voice Matters!
Community input is the foundation of this project. The Board of County Commissioners invites all residents to share their ideas, priorities, and vision for the future of the fairgrounds.
It only takes a few minutes to make a big impact on our community!
