 May 20, 2025 Consolidated Election Deadlines:

• Deadline to register to vote is April 25, 2025. 
• Deadline to request an absentee ballot is May 9, 2025.
• Nonpartisan Candidate Filing Deadline is March 21, 2025.
• Nonpartisan Write-In Candidate Deadline is March 28, 2025.
• Ballot Question Submission Deadline is March 31, 2025.

 **All Deadlines are due to the county on the deadline date by 5pm. 

Early Voting 

Early Absentee voting will be May 5, 2025 through May 16, 2025 at the Elmore County Courthouse in the Elections room (150 South 4th East Mountain Home, ID 83647). The Elections room is the last room to the right when you enter the building next to the elevator. Early absentee voting will be held from 9am-5pm weekdays.

Absentee Ballot Requests

The absentee ballot request form for 2025 is now available. You are able to download it here and bring it in or mail it to us once it’s available. Or if you’d prefer to fill it out online you can on voteidaho.gov.
