May 19, 2020 Election Dates & Deadlines: 

 **PLEASE NOTE: This election will be conducted by all mail only due to COVID-19 virus, polling places are closed for this election.**

Last day to pre-register to vote is May 19, 2020 8 pm.

Last day to request mail out ballots is May 19, 2020, 8 pm.  Ballots MUST be returned to the Elections Department by June 2, 2020 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Election Day May 19, 2020. Ballots will be counted on June 2, 2020 after 8 pm.

In-Person Absentee: NOT AVAILABLE THIS ELECTION

Those wanting to In-Person Absentee vote, can come into the Elmore County Courthouse and vote M-F from 9:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.

What you will need in able to In-Person Absentee vote:

  • If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
  • If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency, and will then be required to absentee vote at the same time.
  • Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.
