May 18, 2021 Election Dates & Deadlines: 

**PLEASE NOTE: This election is for voters that live in the Glenns Ferry Highway District only.**

Last day to pre-register to vote is April 21, 2021.

Last day to request mail out ballots is May 7, 2021.  Ballots MUST be returned to the Elections Department by May 18, 2021 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Election Day Voting will be available, polls will open 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m.  Eligible voters in voting precincts Mountain Home 1, 4, 7 and 8 as well as new voters in Pine and Prairie will vote at the Elmore County Courthouse.  Voters in voting precincts Glenns Ferry, Hammett and King Hill will vote at the Glenns Ferry City Hall located at 110 E 2nd Ave in Glenns Ferry.  These changes DO NOT affect Mail In Precincts Pine and Prairie.       

In-Person Absentee Voting: Starts May 3, 2021 until May 14, 2021 at the Elmore County Courthouse M-F 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

What you will need in able to In-Person Absentee vote:

  • If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
  • If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency, and will then be required to absentee vote at the same time.
  • Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.
