November 3, 2020 Election Dates & Deadlines: 

Last day to pre-register to vote is October 9, 2020.

Last day to request mail out ballots is October 23, 2020.  Ballots MUST be returned to the Elections Department by November 3, 2020 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Election Day Voting will be available, polls will open 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m.  Voters in voting precincts Mountain Home 1 thru 9 and Mayfield will vote at the Elmore County Marine building next to the Elmore County Jail located at 2259 E 8th N Mountain Home.  Voters in voting precincts Glenns Ferry, Hammett and King Hill will vote at the Glenns Ferry City Hall located at 110 E 2nd Ave in Glenns Ferry.  These changes DO NOT affect Mail In Precincts Atlanta, Chattin Flats, Pine and Prairie.     

In-Person Absentee Voting: Starts October 13, 2020 until October 30, 2020 at the Elmore County Courthouse M-F 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

What you will need in able to In-Person Absentee vote:

  • If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
  • If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency, and will then be required to absentee vote at the same time.
  • Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.
