March 10, 2020 Election Dates & Deadlines:

Last day to pre-register to vote is February 14, 2020 .

In-Person Absentee Voting starts February 18, 2020 ends March 6, 2020.

Last day to request mail out ballots is February 28, 2020.  Ballots mailed out MUST be returned to the Elections Department by March 10, 2020 no later than 8:00 P.M.

Election Day March 10, 2020.

In-Person Absentee:

Those wanting to In-Person Absentee vote, can come into the Elmore County Courthouse and vote M-F from 9:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.

What you will need in able to In-Person Absentee vote:

  • If already registered, you will still need to provide photo identification, or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit before being issued a ballot.
  • If you are not already registered, you will need to provide photo identification as well as proof of residency, and will then be required to absentee vote at the same time.
  • Proof of residency must include the voter’s name and current address. Examples include a current Idaho driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, rental agreement, mortgage deed, or a current hunting/fishing license.

The polls are open March 10, 2020 (Election Day) from 8:00 a.m – 8:00 p.m. Registration is available at the polls.
