Full-time  position with the Elmore County Maintenance Department with the possibility of the job becoming a permanent position.   Hourly pay offered $13.61-14.50 per HR. This position does not offer a benefit package.   Primary duties include janitorial work for cleaning and maintenance of County buildings and facilities.  Work is scheduled during late afternoon or evening.

Financial/Front Office Clerk

The Clerk’s office has a full-time position available in District Court as a Financial Clerk.  Hourly pay offered $15.01 DOE/DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical insurance and vacation/sick/holiday leave. 

 

The Financial Clerk performs in the day-to-day operations and financial functions of the Court, data quality, disbursements and end of month financial reporting and performs related work as required.  Performs a variety of clerical duties as needed to expedite the receiving and reviewing of documents through File and Serve; Processes case pleadings notes in the data management system.   Successfully oversee the day-to-day operations of financial functions with minimal input from supervisor, perform daily Odyssey financial adjustments, run financial reports to keep all accounts up to date. Performs detailed building inspections for all types of residential and commercial construction projects that have received a building permit in Elmore County. Exercises technical judgment and discretion based on extensive knowledge of the various ordinances, codes and regulations which the employee is responsible for enforcing. Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine to complex duties related to the County’s code compliance program, including the identification, investigation, and correction of violations of the county’s municipal, building, and zoning codes, and of State and County Health and Safety Codes and Ordinances; investigates citizen complaints of public nuisances and quality of life issues and seeks voluntary compliance or issues citations and initiates abatement procedures; and performs related work as required.

Elmore County is hiring a Planner!  This is a full-time hourly position with Elmore County.   Hourly pay is offered at $17.02-$25.30 DOE/DOQ. Primary duties (see job description for full details):

Planner I

This is an entry-level professional position in the Land Use and Building Department of Elmore County.  The primary functions of this job include:

  • Process development applications and provide information to the public to administer the Zoning and Development Ordinance;   
  • Serve as the point of contact for the public and other team members on all planning matters
  • Prepare all hearing notices, publication records, and newspaper legal notices; and
  • Present staff reports and recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of County Commissioners’ Meetings.

The principal duties of the position are performed in a general office environment, with some field inspection of project sites. This classification requires administration and coordination of planning applications per guidelines established in the Local Land Use and Planning Act (LLUPA or Idaho Code Title 67, Chapter 65) and Zoning and Development Ordinance. An employee in this classification manages their time independently and coordinates their assignments with other team members, agencies, county staff, and general public in review of the development applications. Attendance at evening meetings is required.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, or any other related field; or
  • Considerable experience in urban planning, planning and zoning in the public sector, public administration, or

ELMORE AMBULANCE SERVICE EMT – RESERVE PROGRAM

EMT-B

ELMORE AMBULANCE SERVICE EMT – RESERVE PROGRAM

EMT-B

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) has certification and licensure as an EMT and provides basic-level life support under the direction of paramedics and AEMT’s.

JOB SUMMARY –

The EMT is responsible for providing Basic Life Support Care to patients of all ages and driving emergency vehicles. The EMT must be able to assist transport team within the EMT scope of practice under the direction of transport team members. ELMORE AMBULANCE SERVICE

is looking for Part-Time EMTs and on-call Drivers for the Pine area

Elmore County is looking for applicants to fill Part-Time EMT positions in the Elmore Ambulance Service (EAS) Department: (Refer to job description for full details and requirements).  In addition, there is a need for EMTs or Drivers to support the emergency services function of the Pine-Featherville area.

DRIVERS-

EAS Drivers fulfill manning shortages and only perform in the capacity of driving to support full-time staff.  This position operates as an on-call, as needed basis, which requires flexibility and also availability when paged.  Drivers are paid $25.00 per hour when responding to needs, with a two-hour minimum for calls initiating in the Pine-Featherville area.

Must have clean driving record, current Idaho drivers license, and this position is subject to drug-testing.

You will also be required to attend and pass an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) prior to becoming an active employee on the roster.
