Sample Ballot 2016 General Election
In-Person Absentee Voting will begin at the Courthouse on October 17th and end on November 4th. Voting hours will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Voters who are already properly registered to vote may submit a written, signed absentee ballot request to have a ballot mailed to them.
The deadline to submit an absentee ballot request is October 28th at 5:00 pm.
The actual request must be in the Election Department by the deadline; postmarks on envelopes do not meet the deadline.
All absentee ballots and mail-in precinct ballots must be
returned to the Election Department by no later than 8:00 pm on
November 8, 2016 in order to be counted.
To get an Application for Absentee Ballot Request :
The deadline to pre-register for the November 8, 2016 election has passed. Anyone who needs to register to vote as a new voter, or to change your name or address must appear in person at the Courthouse to register and absentee vote or appear in person at your polling place on election day. You will need photo identification and proof of residence.
